Electronic Markets - The International Journal on Networked Business offers a platform for high quality research from diverse methodological directions in order to lead further and assess current developments. This not only includes quantitative empirical research but also qualitative and design science contributions.

Consequently the journal embraces a rich array of electronic markets and networked business issues. Examples are market mechanisms, market laws, value chains, web services, portals, standardization, social aspects and legal issues, methods, business models, and information / communication technology.

Electronic Markets is a methodologically pluralistic journal. Quantitative and qualitative research methods are both welcome, as long as the studies are methodologically sound. Conceptual and theory-development papers, empirical hypothesis testing, and case-based studies are all welcome.

Our goal is to publish research contributions of high, international quality from various research traditions.

For our regularly general research section of the journal we are inviting submissions. All papers will be peer reviewed and should conform to Electronic Markets publication standards.

If you have any questions regarding acceptable topics, please contact the editors.
