Revision
On conditional acceptance of an article
Once your article has been conditionally accepted for publication
it will be revised in 3 steps...
Step 1: Reviewers' Revisions
-
You will receive a copy of the comments, made by the blind reviewers and
- a deadline for making those changes.
- This stage will be handled via the online submission system.
- You are required to provide a response to the reviewers' comments
and explain how you reacted to the issues raised.
Step 1 will be repeated until the reviewers and editors are
satisfied with all changes made. After final acceptance of your article
it will be submitted to our publisher who handles the next two
steps.
Step 2: Copyright Statement
- This is required.
- Our publisher will contact you regarding copyright.
- Without a signed copyright statement, we regret that we can not
publish your article.
- The Copyright Statement contains information about the rights that you personally retain as an author. Please read it carefully.
- Please note - the following documents are outdated. We will update these documents as soon as possible. For further information please see the following documents:
Please make sure that you follow the guidelines in acquiring permission
to publish long quotes, illustrations, and/or pictures.
Step 3: Proofreading Revisions
- Copy editing will be handled by our publisher.
- During this step, the Copy Editor may contact you directly. However, if the corrections are small, this may not be the case.
- Problems with graphics will also be addressed.
On Revise & Resubmit
Revise & Resubmit means that your article has been rejected for publication but the Editors see enough potential to invite a resubmission after heavy revisions. In this case please resubmit your manuscript like a new one and then attach an extra document with your response to the reviewers. The response to reviewers must be blinded like the manuscript.
