Rankings

As an international academic journal, Electronic Markets is included in many rankings. One of the most important rankings is the Impact Factor (IF) by Clarivate Analytics, which indicates the impact a journal has in the scientific community by measuring how often the journal’s published articles are cited (see our editorial in issue 2, volume 26). The SCImago Journal and Country Rank has a similar function, but in addition to the number of citations, it also takes into account the prestige of journals in which these contributions are cited. The Scopus h-index reflects the number of citations in other journals.

Many journal rankings employ the traditional ABC-rating. Here, the classification ranges from leading scientific journal in the specific discipline (A-rating) over important and prestigious scientific journal (B-rating) to recognized scientific journal (C-rating).
